r.randomwalk 2.0 and some associated scripts are available for download below. Older versions are provided, too, but are not recommended to be used any more.
Be aware that the application of computer models in the field of natural hazards is highly critical. First, all tools, data and manuals were prepared with utmost care and with the purpose to be useful - however, they may still contain errors of various types. Second, even the best models only produce a distorted and generalized view of reality. Their interpretation requires (i) extreme care, (ii) a detailed understanding of the model and (iii) complementary information such as measurements or observations. The unreflected communication of model results may lead to unwanted consequences. Whilst critics or suggestions are highly appreciated, any responsibility for any adverse consequences emanating from the use of any of the versions of the tool provided below is strictly rejected.
[Pre-release 31.05.2021 RECOMMENDED VERSION]
The latest development version of the r.randomwalk 2.0 source code, including an installation script. Even though the development of r.randomwalk 2.0 has not yet been finalized, it is believed that it is better to use this pre-release version than the older versions. However, please be aware that pre-release versions may contain serious bugs and should not be used for critical real-world applications. Changes from version 1.2: upgrade to GRASS 7.8 with Python 3, older versions of GRASS GIS and Python are not supported any more. Detailed instructions for the installation and operation of the tool are provided in the user manual. Training data are available.
